Liquid Oxygen and B12

Hi everybody,

Is liquid oxygen for real? I used Vitamin " O " for years and didn't

notice any difference in the asthma I am experiencing, or in any

other way. It cost $21.95 per 1 oz. bottle, so it was quite

expensive as well. Health food stores carry a variety of brands and

nobody seems to know for sure.

Also, can a person take 1,000 mg. of B12 without taking the whole B

complex? Doesn't that seem high? It is being sold for energy.

Doesn't it help create red blood cells?

My red blood cell count was a little low in my blood test last

month. Since I am way too thin, I was being tested for anemia. I'm

not anemic, but the count was a little low.

Thanks,

Merlynn

Hi Merlynn,

My best suggestion for you would be to read the book " Sugar Blues " by

William Dufty (available everywhere in paperback). EXCELLENT book.

Teaches you the basics behind proper food digestion and why we have

so many health problems (due to all the added " fillers " in foods).

If you were not born with the problem, asthma is a digestive problem,

period. I know. I used to suffer from it. The solution to it is not

found in a pill or supplement.

Good luck!

Hi Merylynn,

My medical Dr. used to give me shots of B12 - I00 CCs daily for 10

days in a row for anemia I suffered after a bad surgery and severe

reacation to heparin (anti-clotting agent)when I lost

(heparin 'popped my red blood cells, I was highly allergic to it) 12

units of blood. My iron count was low for over a year because of that

surgery, and he did this a total of 3 times in a 13 month period. I

also took iron and ate lots of iron rich foods. I never took it for

energy tho I always felt better (more strength) when I had those

shots. ~away

Dear Away,

You need to get with your doctor and find out exact story.I would be

inclined to think you had a bad reaction while being given heparin

rather than being allergic to it.I need to read the package inserts

on heparin better I suppose.A 100 cc,s of Vit b-12 IM for ten days is

alot of B-12

I am very tight about giving my patients alot of IM or IV B-12.I

believe it promotes the growth of some tumor cells.Although you may

have a boost of energy the long term side effects-say bladder cancer

could be an unwelcome side effect.I think you could get the same

boost out of growth hormone formulations. You could also take some

good siberian gingseng for an energy level boost.Watch blood pressure

closely though.
