(Chapter 4:1) And seven women shall seize one man in that day saying we will eat our own bread and our own garments we will wear, only let your name be called upon us to take away our reproach.

(And seven women will grab one man in those days saying, “We have our own bread and our own garments, just let us call upon your name to take away our reproach. Note, And that guy would be son of Jacob, who they recognize as the one who begins constructing the house of God of Jacob. They apparently help him, and don’t need anything from him.)

(2) In that day shall the branch of YHWH be as beauty and as glory and the fruit of the earth as majesty and pride for the escaped of Israel. [and Judah].

(.cj…In in those days will the branch of God be the beauty and the glory and the fruit of the earth, as majesty and pride for those who escaped from Israel and Judah. Note, This “branch of God“ represents the structure of the house of God of Jacob, or the foundation of the “house of God of Jacob“. The “escaped of Israel and Judah is referring to those people who consider their faith to be based on the Torah, but are no longer considered Jewish. Let’s call them the “Lost Tribe“. So, the house of God of Jacob doesn’t come from the Jewish community, but from another sect which believes in the Torah.)

(3) And it shall be that the remnant in Zion and those remaining in Jerusalem shall be called holy; all the ones written among the living in Jerusalem.

(.cj…And it will be that the remnant in Judaism and those still in Jerusalem will be called holy, all the ones written among the living in Jerusalem. Note, Being “called holy“, and being holy are two different things, so this line refers to self designated holiness. This could be where the church got it notion of excommunication. “Written among the living“ could be construed to mean that you must belong, but it really means that no one in Jerusalem are going to make it. That interpretation also implies that some of the “remnant“ will survive. Let‘s see if He gets them later.)

( 4) When the Lord has washed the excrement of the daughters of Zion and the blood of Jerusalem he has cleansed from her midst by the spirit of judgment and the spirit of burning.

(.cj…When the Lord has washed the excrement of the Americans and the blood of Jerusalem has been cleansed from her midst by the spirit of judgment and the spirit of burning. Note, That‘s a little complicated, but it means that Christianity will be washed away. “Are you washed in the “blood“ of the Lamb?” The “blood of Jerusalem” refers to Christianity, or what’s left of the teachings of Jesus. Please know that I have no ill feelings towards Christianity, or Jesus, but I suspect the Romans were up to no good. Let’s see if this concept continues to work. If it doesn’t we can change it later. I hope Jesus doesn’t mind. The part about the “spirit of judgment” relates to those who realize what this guy is doing and aligns with the branch network, and the spirit of burning represents those who don‘t. Yup, I‘d call that getting them.)

(5) And YHWH will create upon every establishment of Mount Zion and upon her congregations a daily cloud [....omission of 14 words in vss 5 and 6...] from the heat for a refuge from storm and from rain. (PP)

(.cj…And God will create upon every establishment of Mount Zion and upon her congregations a daily cloud of smoke and by night, the light of a fire, and over all the glory a canopy. Note, “Glory“ would be the group which is aligning itself with the house of God of Jacob. Let‘s call the “house of God of Jacob” something else, that‘s getting old. Let‘s call it Mount Zion for now, and see if it fits later. The part about the “daily cloud of smoke“ and “by night, the light of a fire“ means that the establishment’s vision will come together in the middle so to speak, the day will become darker, and the night will become brighter. The next line about the “canopy“ relates to the groups ability to protect itself, probably with a little help from God, which more than likely comes from the people of the group, rather than the manifestation of God as a person.)

This chapter begins by talking about seven women who grab the son of Jacob. I think this indicates they support the establishment of Mount Zion. The women have their “own bread and their own garments”, so they are a lot better off than he is. It says that they want his name, but I don’t suspect this to mean they want to marry him, but only to be a part of Mount Zion. I suggest this because they are seeking to remove their “reproach”, or disgrace, and since this can only be accomplished in the eyes of God, and not man, it’s not him they are interested in. It makes sense to me that the women recognize this organization as that of redemption, of God, and that they are in the “Last Years“.

Next we are given the structure of this guy’s organization, “the branch of God” is describing a network of people. Consider God as the tree, and now look at the branch as the network, and the people are leaves, each one with a line back to the tree. Since man is making this thing, it would appear that this is a literal branch, and not a spiritual one. This is not to say that spirituality is not inherently enhanced through normal methods of communication.

I can’t imagine the whole world reporting to one man, as one would conclude from the tree scenario, so I am going to suggest that the organization, like a tree has two way traffic. The leaves bring energy from sunlight (input from people, God‘s Voice), and the roots provide water for the leaves (output to the people, Life). I think this guy comes along and figures that out. You will recall that he previously said the governorship of the planet was the problem after his brother too his hand in the previous chapter. So he is more than likely more interested in making the system work than controlling people.

Now if you look at the scenario, you might see that the good people are talking to the good people through this network, and God is in the middle, because that is the result of what happens when people start talking. If you want to call one group good, and the other group bad, you didn’t understand the scenario.

Notice that this scenario also uses the roots of the tree for an explanation, though the roots aren’t mentioned, they are implied, since a tree is known to have both roots and branches. Now let’s consider the overall effect of adding the roots to the comparison. If the leaves are bringing energy from light, and the roots are bringing energy from dark, don’t you think the tree needs both?

It boils down to ones belief in God, not ones belief in who’s religion is the right one. Those who see the light know God, those who see no light don’t know God, but God needs the water and the light. He will sort it all out, and send some light to the roots, and some water to the leaves.

I think this guy figured that part out, and decides to include all people in his network, not just those who provide the light. We’ll see if this theory holds true as we progress.

Another conclusion one might draw from this verse is the “branch” would be a “pride for the escaped of Israel and Judah”, means, if we take this in the literal sense, that the “branch” is God’s will, and that it is from outside the Jewish or Judah belief system. Now try to imagine this guy coming along in this day and age knowing that he had to announce to the world that the religions based on the Bible he believes in are all wrong.

He is successful though, because the last couple of sentences relate to the success of the organization, and the protection of those who belong to it.
