I will not waste much time on this.

Except to say that most of us healers

have not quite mastered the art of

multiplying loaves and fishes yet,

and deserve to earn a living.

The Conversations with God books cover

this topic beautifully.

Our society expresses how it values

anything in money.

Yet somehow it thinks it not right

to monetarily reward the most essential

Something is wrong with this picture.

My prices are reasonable, and I am

always open to barter for a non-money

But spare me the "it ought to be free"

bit.

Try it with the landlord and the supermarket

and see how far you get.

Dear Ieneke,

What a pleasure it is to observe the warrior in you spring forth in unabated honesty. There is a misconception in this world today about the word free. Nothing is free, even the gift of love. For in accepting it, one must must surrender to its transformative powers. That which is free according to man is without necessity for interchange. The nature of life is interchange. We exist because of God's Love for us yet must awaken to not only accept that love but also to return it through the unending necessity of awakening to a greater consciousness. All life represents the giving and receiving of that which is and that which is not. Man misunderstands his place in this world and all too often suffers the illusion that he is entitled to that which he wants.

Few understand the wisdom of Emerson who spoke of the Law of Compensation and how one who receives without giving is a pauper. The challenge for each of us is not that we receive but that we give without expectation. Yet, in this physical world where abundant laws reflect the inherent degeneration of man's spiritual nature, the balance between giving and receiving is not one which one can assume. Thus, it is essential that we respect the spiritual ignorance of those who feel entitled to all that they want. We do this by insuring that they not violate the Law of Balance and give payment for that which they receive. Some have great challenge with this as they do not feel worthy of receiving and thus devalue themselves, while harboring resentment for the inequities which they themselves have attracted to themselves.

Much Love in Spirit,

Stephen

Amen to you Dr Brown, you have an eloquence with words with which I

agree.

And to you Ieneke I can only say " render unto Caesar what is Caesar's "

for if a man is not worth his meddle what profiteth a prophet?

In a way,I say the same thing as Stephen, there may be a much greater

value ultimately in performing a task for little reward in this

lifetime. It is either the very wise or the very stupid who would

believes in Karma. And like all the great teachers I believe you reap

what you sow.In His name and in His spirit,I remain,Dr John D. Son
