Guest guest
People used to believe that the earth was flat, and GOD looked over them. Anyone who said otherwise was laughed at or stoned to death. Then it was 'proven' that the earth was round, which is now the consensus view. There are a lot of people who believe that the earth is actually hollow, and that civilisations exist inside it. Similarly ideas on medicine/therapy have moved from herbal to drugs, to holistic. So who is right? Well, they are all wrong! Alternativly, from their perspective. they are all right. I think that the earth is neither flat, round nor hollow. Actualy it does not exist, except in our minds. The earth is a holographic projection, just an illusion. So is the moon, the sun and the stars. So is our body, the brain and the mind. We have collectivly thought or imagined these into apparent existence. Therefore, if we stopped the mental projection and projected something different, that is what we would experience. If you think that this is rediculous, do some reading. Suggestions: 1. 'The Holgraphic Univere' by Michael Talbot 2. 'Wholeness and the Implicate Order' by David Bohm 3. 'Tales from the Time Loop' by David Icke 4. 'The Matrix' movie, implied something similar. 5. Hindu, Tantric and Buddhist works descibing the world as 'maya', 'the observer and observed are one' This is an intersting interview with Karl Pribram: http://twm.co.nz/pribram.htm Examine the many links in that article, including: The Universe as a Hologram http://twm.co.nz/hologram.html#Karl Pribram I have no doubt in my mind that universe is a holgraphic projection. If this is the case, and it is, think of the implications: We are not sitting on a 'flat' ground (we just think we are). The moon does not revolve around the earth (we just think it does). Neither does the sun (we just think it does). There is no gravity, there are no laws of physics (we only obey these laws because we believe them). We do not get ill (we just think we do). The little boy in the 'Matrix' tells Neo: 'THERE IS NO SPOON'. He could have continued '...THERE IS NO OBJECTIVE REALITY, no walls, no sea, no mountains, no body, no illness - its all Maya, an illusion, a collective thought projection. To change it, change the projection.' In a holgraphic image, distance is an illusion. So is time. It does not take time to go from point A to B when points A and B do not exist. If there is no time, there is no future or past. Everything must exist simultaneously in the now. The apparent sequence of events (for example i'm writing this article word after word) is also an illusion - everything happens in the same now. In an illusion, the only effective therapy is belief and imagination. James
Guest guest
In an illusion, the only effective therapy is belief and imagination.James Very nice James, from a cosmic point of view. I certainly agree with you that there in NO chance of healing without the agreement of the mind and spirit. In fact, I came up with the "timing theory of healing". At some point, for whatever reason, a person is ready to be healed. Whatever remedy or system or healing art is used at that time will do the trick and get the credit. The healee may then start going around telling people that remedy A, B, and C, which he tried while he was not ready, are totally worthless. But remedy G, wow, what a winner! I believe this accounts for much. As for the "everything is illusion" line, that is all very nice for fully realized masters, but most of us are still pretty Earth bound. I know I am. I am "doing threedee". I am here to "Do Earth." She is gorgeous, I love Her! If you have reached the walking on water stage already, more power to you, but I still need to know where the crossing rocks are.
