Guest guest
Hi Sarah I also love animals. When my dog gets an ear infection, I put on a Q-tip an antibiotic that I would put on a cut and rub it around in his ear, and then let him lay their quietly and I just rub his ear, within 1-2 days his infection is gone. I have two pharmacists that live near me and they love pets also, they say they when their dogs use to get ear mites, they would cleanse the ears in a mild soap water. Make sure you don’t go into the ear with the water and then they put Vaseline in the ears, 2 times a day. The mites suffocate from the Vaseline. They told me their dogs don’t have mites anymore. So they put the Vaseline in 1 time a day now. I have a Lab name Thunder and three beta fish (Japanese Fighting fish) the males are so beautiful. My son asked me to take care of “Bob” while he went back to Grad. School. Then I bought one name Clyde (husband named that one) and then I bought one and I named him “Ippo”. I love cats, but my husband hates them, so I have 107 statues in my computer room. I use to have a cat when I was single, loved him. Well, I hope my suggestions help. I also know when Thunder first got an ear infection the Vet gave me a bottle of ear wash solution, just for dogs. Squeeze some in and then rub the ears for a bit, then try to lay the dog on that ear so it will drain out. Lynn --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. I admit, it was an excellent and relatively painless way to get the black muck out of my cat Possum's ears, but it just comes back and she scratches her ears so much the skin on her head bleeds. I am worried now that the other cats are getting them, as her playbuddy Spike seems to be scratching some -- not a lot, but I have noticed him doing it now, when I didn't before. Don't see any muck just yet, but I'd rather fix Possum's problems before the rest of my brood gets that far. Alaja
