Guest guest
Hello all, my name is Bridget. I am 33 and from Oklahoma. I also happen to be Bi polar, with several sub diagnosis that go with it. Panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorder, post tramatic stress disorder, and various addictions thru-out my life. In my spare time (said with a smile) I am interested in being a happy and healthy person. This seems to take work! I also have a son within the autism spectrum. So, I am reading with interest your discussion on panic attacks and totally agree with the caffine being an antagonist. If you suffer from panic attacks and also happen to smoke, you should quit! Smoking increases your heart rate and only makes it worse, people think they need to smoke to calm down and it makes it worse. I am trying to wean myself off of caffine and go to water, I have been trying to trick myself with carbonated water when I am REALLY wanting a pop and that seems to help. As far as the meds I am on, the only thing I seem to take regularly is Lithium, 600 mg's a day, and my klonopin to sleep, 3 mg's. I am going manic right now, so I am hoping my thoughts are coherent enough for all of you. If not, I'm sorry. I try to eat whole foods and avoid those with chemicals in them as they seems to make mine and my sons symptoms worse. I also take cal meg to help me sleep, and take vit b12 as it is supposed to help me absorb my medications better. I am interested in crystals, pyramids, teas and poltices. I worked in a greenhouse for a long time and my boss used crystals on the greenhouse for the plants, it was great. I also have limited experience watching others use plants for healing. I am very interested in learning more and sharing what I can with others, peace, Bridget~Walk in love and light~
