Dr. Phadke - Crystal Therapy

Dr. Phadke,

 

My " background " and " practice " are much more simplistic than yours, I

assure you. I began using crystals in connection with my study of

Wicca and ancient Celtic traditions. Originally I used them mostly

for divination (rune stones and crystal pendulums), detecting ley

lines, and for helping to raise energy during ritual.

 

Later I was introduced to the fact that the energy contained within

the crystals had a certain resonance that could be directed toward

particular " problems " . Rhodenite can be used to calm the mind and

body; amethyst to raise psychic awareness; rose quartz to heal the

heart; snowflake obsidian to for grounding and centering.

 

My chiropractor is also a shaman and often uses crystals and stones

during treatment. Sometimes he has his patients hold a particular

stone or he will pass a particular crystal over the areas of the body

affected. His practices and my prior experiences with crystal,

realizing their power, led me to an interest in how they might be

used not only for emotional healing, but physical healing. I felt

that it would be a good complement to my continuing education in

herbal healing.

 

Many of you have suggested the book by Melody. Obviously is it

considered to be an exceptional source. I will be looking into it.

But I would also like to hear from others who are exploring this area

and have information they are willing to share. I love books;

however, people tend to reveal more than the written word.
