Guest guest
Hi, I am a new member and have been reading past postings with great interest! In the last year or so (possibly longer, ever since a flu shot left me with the feeling of having a permanent 'head cold') my ear ringing (tinnitus) has been getting stronger and louder. My GP says that he can not find any good reason for it, so he prescribed anti-hystamines and steroid based nasal sprays. I used all the sprays and pills, but NO change. Now I persuaded him to send me to an Ear/Nose/Throat specialist, but I have to wait another 3 weeks for an appointment> Can I do something in the meantime? I can not sleep unless I mask the infernal racket in my ears by listening to the radio with headphones....... Amadeus.
