Guest guest
Hi, Lisa, For your diabetes, high BP, cholesterol, etc. read http://www.mercola.com/2001/jul/14/insulin.htm If your neuropathy is due to diabetes, take a look at NutraStar's products because they had great success reversing it rather quickly in clinical studies. http://www.nutrastar.com Roman asil34 wrote: > > Hi, > I am sooo glad I found ya'll!!! > I am a 38 year old female with diabetes high b/p and high cholesterol, Migraines and possible MS also had back surg 3/02 to remove disc in low back I know I have Nerve entrapment from Surg via MRI... Guest guest
Yipes! Neurontin is not a good medicine. I don't know why they bother to try it, because i've never heard a report of it working well AND being free of unacceptable side effects. I'm not familiar with Keppra at all. What is is it? Diabetes can sometimes be controlled by diet. I haven't heard much about people being able to do that as well once the neuropathy kicks in, but theoretically it should be reversible. The reason why most people can't reverse it, is that we tend to stick with standard modes of medical treatment once we get used to them, which usually makes other methods unworkable. Besides, if you have to pay for another method, and the standard method is paid for, which are you going to choose? Ideally, a doctor should be able to teach you a proper diet once your ancestry, blood type, and full medical history are known and analyzed. Sometimes diabetes clears up on the Blood Type Diet, and sometimes just on a high-protein regimen. One interesting thing is that Diabetes tends to respond very well to blueberries, of all things. They're pretty expensive, but maybe not as bad as Neurontin. I personally get heavy-duty bleeding gums from Diabetes, and eating some currants helps a lot. Lately i've also added spinach and artichokes, and they have wiped out that symptom too. As for chronic pain, that's difficult to treat with herbs. When i've heard of good results, it's usually been from using TENS electrical treatment. It may be that diet will help with that too, but i'm not experienced enough on that to be able to give more specific recommendations without knowing you. Guest guest
Hello I am new to this forum and I must say that it took me many attempts to find one that actually had people discussing things as opposed to sparse posts and newsletters etc... I hope to engage in discussion and help people as well. I recently found a book in a charity shop called " our earth our cure " by Raymond Dextreit. I feel that the information within could be some of the best around. He promotes the use of clay as a healing medium as his main premise and make up of book. I wish to partake of this type of therapy but don't with to pay the ridculous prices " per jar " that some companies charge for pescalite, bentonite etc.. which is packed in plastic containers making them useless anyway. If anyone can suggest where I can get clay of this type in large blocks weighing say 50lbs (30kg) bags as he and others suggest, please tell me. I live near Sydney Australia but would pay for shipping from any Australian supplier. Thanks Haron.

I also am fond of clay therapy.. Not sure if this is the right type of clay, maybe call and find out its ingredients. , " pecksmyth " <haron@o...> wrote: > Hello > I am new to this forum and I must say that it took me many attempts > to find one that actually had people discussing things as opposed to > sparse posts and newsletters etc...
