Guest guest
There just was a prior post on this. The ww web might have more to say as well. I just checked the book that got me started on herbology, "Handbook of Alternatives to Chemical Medicine." It speaks of using comfrey for ulcerative colitis, in other words, pretty severe conditions. If I were to try it internally, I would first read everything I could find on the herb, as well as symptoms if ad verse reactions. >>I heard that it is toxic to the liver, any truth to this?Peace, Jeff<< Protect your identity with Mail AddressGuard
Guest guest
I searched around for info on Comfrey after reading such great things about it here. One other thing I noted was not to use it on broken skin/open wounds; same reason as taking it internally re the liver. Does that sound right about the broken skin? Or would any risk be pretty small?
