Guest guest
Pooja says it like it is. She talks to DT about getting botox treatment and the void in her love life MANDVI SHARMA Are you going to ask me about the gorgeous man who is intelligent and has his heart in the right place?" she asks eagerly. Well, the man in question is actor George Clooney and the lady inquiring about him is Pooja Bedi. Pooja met Clooney briefly at the Dubai Film Festival. "Actually, my father introduced me to him. And he just commented on my dress saying, 'Oh you look very pretty in that dress. I wish I could wear something like that!' and I quickly said that he was welcome to try it. We just laughed after that," she says. From a gorgeous man to her gorgeous face... has she got something done on her face? Pooja says with a smile, "Yes, I have recently taken botox treatment. I used to have these frown lines on my forehead and thanks to them, people thought that I was the serious sorts. I used to host a chat show then and it used to look really bad. And so I got botox done and it worked for me." In the glam world, talking about condoms, enhancements, facelift and botox are a strict nono, does that worry Pooja? "I was born to two rebellious people and it is in my blood to speak my mind," she says with a smile, adding, "I am not the kind to hide the fact that I have used artificial means to hide or correct my features." Pooja brings the same forthrightness to her love life too. "Love life is a big void just now. But I am not complaining. I don't want to fill my life with clutter because when the right man comes along, there will be no space for him to fit in," says Pooja.
