Guest guest
Lucinda- I take Ginger and Bayberry capsules, two of each every 4 hours, I read that the combination produces a substance that fights the cold virus, and it helps me a lot. It is best if you can start it when you first notice a cold coming on, but it also helps if you start it later.I have immune system problems and get a lot of colds, I have been able to stop them within a day if I get on this combo soon enough. If I start it after the virus has really moved in, it lessens the severity and shortens the duration. I also take 2000 mg Vit C every 6 hours. And Bromelain to break up the mucus. I have a homeopathic combination to help congestion but I will have to search for the ingredients, I haven't needed it for several years with the above treatment. Hope this helps. Not sure what to say other than I don't think this was a simple cold!!! I think it's unlikely that it was a reaction to the food itself, as the symptoms should have resolved within a few days. Did you see a doc? get any testing done? Have you eaten any fish that was store bought? and prepared by you? Cindy
Guest guest
Hi Cindy, Thank you for your comment... Because of the dry (painful) cough and the pain in the chest, I did get a chest Xray... and a cat scan... the doctor still wants to see a mammogram... So, I can only hope that everything will be as ok as possible... Does anyone know anything about nodules? Can they be benign? I have nodules in the pleura... Ingrid > > WOW!!!!
