NEW DELHI: In a shocking incident, doctors at the Bara Hindu Rao

Hospital in the capital found a pair of scissors and forceps inside

the stomach of a person admitted to the hospital.

 

The patient, Minto Kumar, had got admitted after complaining of

severe stomach ache.

 

However, to the doctors' amazement, a pair of scissors and forceps

was found to be present inside his stomach and the cause of acute

pain.

 

" We received a PCR call from the hospital where he was treated on May

5. The hospital said that scissors and forceps were found in the

stomach of a patient, " a senior police official said.

 

Kumar, who hails from Bhagalpur in Bihar, was reportedly operated

upon a year back at a nursing home there for an appendix-related

problem, the official said.

 

Delhi Police has intimated their Bihar counterparts about the

incident, he said.
