Guest guest
Hello all, I mostly lurk, never post anything like this, however I thought many of you might be interested. Here are some links in order that you may send an electronic letter opposing the passage of Senate House Bill 3002. This is the bill that was introduced by Senator John McCain (R-AZ) and Senator Byron Dorgan (D-ND) that threatens our access to dietary supplements. www.citizens.org www.npainfo.org www.naturpathic.org www.anh-usa.org You may also wish to request your Senators to oppose any provisions that may be added from H. 3002 to S. 510, the FDA Food Safety Modernization bill. You can track the status of S. 3002 and S. 510 at www.govtrack.us These 3 Senators are up for reelection in November Michael Bennett (D-CO) , Robert Bennett (R-UT) and Tom (R-OK). If you live in these states you may want to let them know where you stand on this issue. The bill has been referred to the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions. Should you live in one of the states which has a Senator on this committee, you may want to contact them and request your Senator to hold this legislation and keep it from moving out of committee.
