Don ,

If you have been taking this without much change , I would be looking

into other reasons.like your diet , bowel health , age , taking

medications etc.

You should get Doc's free lecture first then his second lecture

..After listening to them make an appointment to talk to Doc's office .

My MD is the one who tested me for low Vit D. ( I hardly

ever venture to one) He was alarmed at just how low it was so I started

supplementing with D 3 in much higher doses than he recommended because

I did some research via the internet. It has taken one year to get it

up to the lowest acceptable limits for the MD but the Vit D Council

indicates it is still low so I'm still taking it. And I too have been

having lots of health problems.

I am just now learning about the effects of

Vitamin D. Ive always been very health conscious so it surprises me

that I hadnt already learned about this. It seems though that if I AM

deficient in this vitamin that would explain alot of my health problems

right now.

 

My question is, if I want to be sure that my

children and myself are getting enough vitamin D, how do I go about

this. How much are we even suppose to have anyway? I have also read a

little about over doing it and how it can be toxic. This does concern

me quite a bit. I know the sun provides some but what else can I do? Is

it a bad thing to have your kids on Vitamin D supplements?

 

I also read that if you are going to start

supplementing this vitamin then you also have to take extra calcium and

magnesium in order for things to work out right. Is this true?

to order. The site doesn’t provide a lot of detail on purpose.

Please have your doctor do a chem / metabolic panel. I tested severely deficient

in D, got my level up and no more severe daytime and night leg cramps, spasms

keeping me awake at night plus the whole rest of my parts started working

better, hands,arms etc. during the day.

 

Do not self diagnose and make sure you have thorough bloodwork done before

trying self medication or use anecdotal 'cures'

Thanks Sue, I just had this done myself, complete neuro-endocrine-immune panel.

They found besides severely STRESSED in a lot of the transmitters like cortisol,

etc I am also deficient in D, as well as other things like the Bs. So needless

to say I am looking forward to feeling better. Worse part was finding my blood

pressure high when I went for the results.....and it has never been high!!

always low, so it is my wake up call for nutrition and lifestyle changes even

more......
