Guest guest
I recollect from my readings also that fibro, MS, and a couple other things are commonly diagnosed for each other. I try to make sure to notify folks who have told me they have fibro of another acquaintance I had that was being treated for a few years for fibro with no relief. When she switched docs, the new doc tested for Lyme's disease. She was positive, and experienced immediate easing of her pain when she started treatment for Lyme Disease. Something else to keep tucked in the back of the brain. Jessica, NC Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®

I had EB titers after a tick bite in 2001 and was given a round of antibiotics as a " just in case " for Lyme. Then I came down with CFS and the Fibro in quick succession. I was told then that essentially Fibro was the " diagnosis by elimination " -- eliminate all the other options (including leukemia) and Fibro is what you have left. But, they've come a ways since then and I've not kept up on the latest diagnostic processes. Just glad I have a way to avoid the symptoms without medications. :-) Tina in NC
Guest guest
Hi! thanks Tina, Jessica, Anya and everyone else for all the messages, I am still catching up on email. She has definitely " MS " as she has a " certain number of brain lesions " or something like that, the current test I believe. But lots of the symptoms are the same as other conditions, I agree they all may be misdiagnosed. Anyway thanks so much for the recommendations- feel free to send me a link to a product you may have or know of so she can order to try. Guest guest
Get tested for Celiacs disease/gluten intolerance. Try to get more sunshine (responsibly) for Vit. D & quit eating grains. See how she feels in a couple months. I am not a medical person but I am gluten intolerant. There's also a technique called EFT (emotional freedom technique) by Gary Craig.
