Kids and adults aren't affected, but babies are more vulnerable. So no raw, unpasteurized honey to babies less than a year old. I read somewhere, Tom Brewer I think but don't quote me, that you can simmer it uncovered for 15 minutes then use it. Kind of like home-canned, low-acid vegetables.
