Well, here is an update on the burns situation(if anyones interested- I may

ramble a little!)

I have been using a combination of lavander and rosehip oil as well as egg

membrane (i think it may have acted like a blister) and it had been 3 days and

now there is a scab.I am now applying the rosehip/lavander regularly so we will

see what happens.

Actually, as far as honey is concerned my mother suggested using it, and my

friend also, but mum said to use Yemen Sidr' honey (she is Yemene) as apparantly

it has lots of healing properties. I don't know if anyone has heard of Sidr

honey but it is extremely expensive and sort after in the middle east and even

in Yemen, for a native it is approximately £15.00 for about 100ml (3 years

ago).It is organic, wild crafted. My opinion(from tasting) is that it is very

waxy in consistency and not very sweet. I have read some studies about it and

apparantly it has better anti-bacterial qualities than manuka honey but only

when it is inhaled (steam bath) rather than applied topically. In Aden,Yemen

there are some strange contraindication: never use when pregnant and never give

to children.

Anyway, I ramble...

Rebecca
