Guest guest
I got a burn on my outer thigh from the muffler of the tiller (ouch) and what healed it really fast was colloidal silver.Diana of Dewberry Hill >>>ya know what else works great, Mustard, that's right, straight out of the fridge! Put it on the burn, it's sooooo cool at first, then when you feel the heat coming out of the burn,2-3 minutes (it'll get warm feeling) just rinse off, No bubbling, no blisters, nothing. The New Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo.

Guest guest
When my darling grabbed my curling iron and inflicted a 2nd-3rd degree burn on the palm of his hand I used all three of the most recommended things I knew of. Took 2-3 weeks but completely healed and no scar. Aloe vera straight from the plant if available the jelly inside, vitamin E, and honey. Try also to keep it covered except at night until it is completely healed over to prevent infection. Hope this helps! O. --- Yes this is Very Helpful, thank you Very Much for taking the time to share your knowlege! 2 to 3 weeks is very fast healing for a burn! Thanks Again, Julie
Guest guest
Colloidal silver is a painless way to keep the wounds free from pathogens and hence aid healing. You can make your own - see www.silvergen.com. A substance that coats the wound like a second skin is called Sangre de Drago - it is a suberb remedy for burns from South America. You can order it from Educador at www.altcancer.com. Guest guest
Well, I am having incredible results with Organic Sulphur (MSM). First, sagging skin on my fingers began to pull in - in one day - then, I looked at some old scars and I swear they are beginning to diminish - I am keeping a photographic record - and today I can see that the lines around my eyes are fast going. It is incredible. Every website says the same thing. Sulphur (or sulfur) increases the permeability of the cell walls so that waste can go out and oxygen can come in. Therefore old cells - EVEN SCAR TISSUE - can rejeuvenate. As he says: " Old scar tissue and various types of fibroids have been reported to resolve. This is an example of cellular regeneration in cells that have been scarred and unable to regenerate over the years following a trauma. " At first they did not get these results, then he noticed that all the MSM his study members were taking had fillers and so on in. I will let him take up the story again: " When we found an article about the 16 " deadly " additives found in MSM—the anti-caking additives, we realized why our early participants were not reporting any health improvements. " You can get the sulphur off him - as I have done - and watch the results. I would put nothing on it right now .. its a tad too late. I would not put anything on an open wound except in a case of emergency and you are not out in the woods with a wound now so its not an emergency. When the broken blister heals over a bit then any oil that will keep the skin moist will help. Folks should keep a bottle of Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) near by at all times .. nothing better for a burn but it must be applied to unbroken skin. I've used it often and one time last year I had a burn on my hand and three fingers that would have sent some folks running for an Emergency Room .. Lavender fixed it immediately .. stopped the pain. I had big time swelling the following day and it became hard but the blister never broke and in a week or so it was like new. > Rebecca > Get well soon .. and keep smiling. :-) Butch ... http://www.AV-AT.com <http://www.av-at.com/>
Guest guest
Thanks Butch, Well, Its all too late now as the blister burst almost immediately. I now have a sore red dent in my forehead I am very very sad - it is a real disaster. I did use neat lavender on it yesterday but it was on the broken skin so i may have done more harm than good.It did stop the pain remarkably well. Never mind. Thanks to everyone who responded. You are all very kind. Rebecca xx FE , Butch Owen <butchowen wrote: > > Howdy Rebecca, > > Hi All, > > > > Yesterday I burned my face with hot oil whilst cooking. Guest guest
I will try it but is it good when the blister has already burst and it is a great gaping hole? Oh dear i have ruined my face! Guest guest
I'm with Chris on this one - Aloe Vera is fantastic. Fiona Australia - -= Chris =- ATFE Tuesday, March 02, 2010 3:46 AM Re: BURNS Nothing beats having a aloe type cactus near the kitchen window. Immediately break off a stem, and let the juice flow on the skin. Alway have one in the kitchen. This goes for oil and hot water burns normally found in the kitchen NOT FOR RAW FIRE burns.... Guest guest
Don't worry, you haven't ruined your face, you'll be fine. But we have always used the vanilla immediately and never gotten a blister so I can't answer that for you. Is there a spot, maybe near your hairline where you could try it? If it's too late for the vanilla, there are other things you can use. I'm not familiar enough with lavender to know but google holistic... aloe vera, castor oil and coconut oil. I know you'll be ok because my niece did much worse and hasn't a scar. I'll find out what she did. Otherwise, there are knowledgeable people here who will help you. I had a fireworks land on my arm which melted my cotton/poly shirt. I had a large deep purple area ( no blister) from it by the time i got home and put vanilla on. I don't know if that's what worked or if it was my daughter hand putting healing into it. Guest guest
According to my research the two best treatments for burns are Hypericum perforatum (St John's Wort) Infused/Macerated Oil and Raw, Unprocessed Honey! Guest guest
I am way late on this one but lavender eo in emu oil. I have used this on burns & it is great to relieve pain & not blister/scar up. I had one spot that I missed (hot grease splattered all over my arm) & it blistered up, all of the other areas left no marks at all. God Bless You & Yours, Georgia (hahagranny) ~~~God's answers are wiser than our prayers~~~ ~~~Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away~~~
