There are no essential oils that have a **physical** action on reducing blood

pressure. With a massage using an oil someone loves, or even smelling a

fragrance someone loves, there is some indication that it will lower a BP that

is elevated through stress. If there is a physical reason for elevated BP, then

the treatment may ease the problem, but it may do nothing. Don't believe the

marketing hogwash on suppliers websites on this issue.

I have found in my own case, that the best herbal remedy to lower a high BP is a

daily small dose of top quality, single malt, 10 year old Scotch whiskey. Thins

the blood I guess, but it has held mine steady for 3 years.

Thank you for responding, could have sworn I have seen information on one of

those two eo's helping lower bp but I guess not. A daily dose of a Hawthorn herb

has held mine steady for some time. A friend of mine does massage therapy and

asked me about adding essential oils for clients with hbp. anne

Giving you advice on a medical condition would be practicing medicine without a

license...

That does not mean there are not people out there breaking the law and doing

such things, but I doubt you are going to find anyone with scientific tests to

back their claim of curing high blood pressure with aromatherapy!
