I have a friend whose husband was second on a research study in NZ regarding nut oils. I have a copy they sent me around here somewhere--I'll try to dig it up so y'all can eyeball it for yourself. Anyway, in basic, the protein that is typically the culprit for nut reactions was found to not pass through to the oil. I do, however, personally know somebody who reacts even to nut oils, but their food allergies are even more extreme than mine. I have a nut allergy (amongst other foods), but have not had any recognized issues with almond or walnut oils. I stay away from sesame oil, though it may only be coincidence--I had what we determined to be stress hives for 2.5mo that started showing up after receiving a massage with sesame oil. They disappeared as soon as we moved back home after living with MIL for 14mo.... Per the bloodwork sesame seeds are a 1+ for me so I just avoid. The funny thing is that the bloodwork said peas were a 0, but I can boil the color out of them and still react. *shrug* I have issues with Biotone products as well. Anyway...there's another .02 from me... Jessica, NC Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®
