I live in (Patrick) Henry County but we were hunting in (J.E.B.) Stuart County, TN. Wind gusts were 35-40 MPH coming outta the WSW. Ducks were flying against the wind and we were adjusting fire till we were shooting at least four school busses behind the ducks but we were still mssing. Finally I decided to aim over into Henry County and by the time the shot blew back into Stuart County it brought down the ducks that were standing still in mid air. I BS you not. ;-) Now just to make sure somebody doesn't try to cap this tale .. lemme tell you about the new World Record White Tail Deer. I'd like to include a photo of the deer but the list doesn't allow attachments. It was taken the last day of the 2010 season in Henry County, Tennessee on my cousin's farm. It will score 2,603-1/8 points by Boone & Crockett standards. It was shot at 780 yards with a .22 caliber short on a windy day .. 50-60 MPH gusts .. around a curve. In two weeks prior to this harvest, that Deer had killed a Brahma bull, three hunters, one game warden, two Land Rovers, three Baptists and six Jehovah's Witnesses. The feller said the Deer was in the process of winning a fight with Big Foot when he bagged it. Snopes says they will soon have an entry verifying the authenticity of this story. > Always enjoy hearing from you Butch!! > Jessica, NC > Thankee ma'am .. appreciated. :-) Butch
