Guest guest
Aloha Peggy. . . You are truly loved and appreciated by many and all of us reading posts are always concerned about your well being. Because I happen, to work with those often affected by high blood pressure I wanted to share that the two most significant and easy to adjust factors affecting such are limiting salt and adding fiber to diet. Perhaps you have already done this. Getting and adequate intake of minerals is also a factor. Many of us have taken to using filtration systems for our daily water intake supply and do not replace the minerals removed by those systems (Britta, Pur, etc) It may seem like a minuscule amount, but I have seen dramatic results when these factors are taken into account. That said the number one mineral selected by those coming to our healing fair booth for high blood pressure is Rose Quartz. carrying a piece in pocket or sleeping with it seems to be effective. Removing stress factors can also be helpful. Many chose Blue Lace Agate for that as it is helpful is supporting 'speaking ones truth' when it is often not easy. The stone that is calling to me intuitively for you is Rainbow or Green Fluorite. Perhaps because it is a great organization stone, connects the physical and ethereal bodies and regulates flow of energy. Sweet gently Aquamarine for protection is also coming through. Know that you are loved, treasure, valued, needed. Guest guest
Hello, Thanks very much for your insight re crystals and their effects and perceived effects. I'm so new to this that I'm afraid (I'll go as far as to say, paranoid) of doing something wrong. Perhaps I will feel less concerned the more I tune into the crystals. Now, the trouble is finding the quality time to tune into them. I will try. You're most kind to take the time to write in view everything you're dealing with right now. I couldn't help but comment on your struggles with finding a decent BP medication. Years ago I went through the same thing. It's difficult to find the right one or combination of meds that will allow one to function. I've tried Procardia, Clonidine, Lysinopril and others. The first two didn't agree with me, but the Lysinopril did relative to the others. I still experience some dry coughing at night due to the Lysinporil, but it's better than being half out of my mind and unable to function. I've known others who found that Lysinopril works and agrees with them when other BP meds don't. I still feel somewhat fatigued from taking it all of these years, but I can function well on it. As you may know, for some of these BP meds, it may take about 2 weeks to get an idea of whether they are working. You may want to consult with your physician and ask about Lysinopril if you haven't tried it. Hope you'll be feeling better soon! Guest guest
Peggy, I'm so sorry to hear that you're having such a tough time with your BP, and that Lysinopril didn't even work for you. That's pretty impressive that you've been able to keep it under control for so long without the meds. 200 is pretty high. When I first discovered I had BP problems it was in the 200s as well. I empathize with your frustation. I recall feeling like a guinea pig going through all of that. I'll be thinking of you and hoping that things improve. I've had pretty severe side effects from Lisinopril also Atenolol and Clonidine forget what others . I'm on Felodipine and HCTC now but while side effects are comparatively negligible so far, Felodipine does not seem to lower my BP at all. I managed for 15 0r 20 years with just the low salt diet and crystals and energy work but spiked into the 200s earlier this year setting off this current round of medical stuff. Guest guest
Good to hear from you Ellen. Thanks for checking in! Congrats on the harvest, and have fun at the conference. PLEASE report back with any good news you get-we could all use some good news for a change! You are right, there is so much doom and gloom in the country today. Most are in the cellar. Icarmelized about 10 pounds last weekend in the crockpot. My baby cornfinally produced and I got about 25 dozen ears, which yielded about aquart once shucked-they could be harvested when larger, but I ran outof time. I'll look for earlier and smaller tomato varieties. The Amish Paste and Brandy Boy tomatoes were to die for, but slow toripen and cracked horribly. This weekend I'll be at the beaming Bioneers conference-my annual balmfor all the doom and gloom. Guest guest
We list-moms are popping-in to say thanks for all of your participation in ATFE. We are here, and following the discussion. This is a small, vibrant group, with a lot of challenging issues to address; and this may be the only place we'll see such exchanges. We are working behind the scenes. Unlike some groups, though, we don't police our folks. Thanks again for all of your participation, and the respectfulness you show for one-another. Cheers, Liz, Jeanine, Stacey, and Christina P.S. - Quoting instead of top-posting is a great idea! We'll leave it to you all to take care of your posts. Thanks.
