Guest guest
Hi Sugar, What is the best format for you to receive information? What about printed books, website pages, or pdf files? Guest guest
And, Sugar, how extensive is your Braille library, do you have the capability to get a broad range of educational books such as herbals or aromatherapy books in Braille or spoken word? I know that in larger populated areas, the Services for the Blind will deliver and pickup books and/or tapes/cd's. We here could maybe help with a suggest list for you to inquire of them if this service is available to you. Guest guest
Now, I'm confused . . . you said you were totally blind. How do you 'read' the screen? Perhaps my suggestion for Braille isn't appropriate? Guest guest
Hi Marsha there are several talking screen readers out there for the blind. I use one of the many, it's called, " JAWS " it says every letter I press, and reads back everything that is typed. this gives me the opportunity to recieve E mails, and work on the internet, given, that there are no graphics, for " jaws " will not read anything that has graphics or pictures, naturally since I don't know what it is. I know braille, but I choose not use it, because of the possibilities there is for blind users today and the many more varities there is to feel " apart " of this society. I hope this has helped some. Guest guest
> still, I'd like to know and learn about the many joys on Essential oils, and herbs and the healing wonders of them< This group is made up of *mostly* " the best " in the field of aromatherapy. That's why you will see disagreements, because these are people who think for themselves rather than just parrot what they read in a book from Barnes & Nobel. Then there are people like me, perpetual students...some self-taught others who have studied under more experienced people in the field. There is a lot of nonsense out there as you will read Martin write pertty much in response to every three posts. Martin has a ton of great information on his website but for some reason doesn't want anyone to link to it... why I don't know, when you have good information you generally want to drive as much traffic to your website as possible so that you come up higher in search engine searches and your good information can get out there to the public. The reality is, if you go to the local health food store or Whole Foods and buy a bottle of commercial essential oil and a diffuser, you can enjoy the benefits of Aromatherapy. Maybe you will never go past that stage, and that's OK. Start small...take baby steps.
