Guest guest
Hi Karen - nice to have you here on ATFE. Your mail came to just the moderators (not the full group) so it would be nice if you could re-post your intro to ATFE You seem to have had a full life and I'm sure our members would love to hear from you We will give your members a warm welcome if you decide to close your group. The more the merrier! So please do refer them to us - thank you I note our welcome note is a little out-dated as we now have Stacey on board as joint co-owner. Thanks for writing and we look forward to seeing you on the group Christina, Jeanine, Stacey & Liz ATFE Owners and Moderators 2010/1/5 Doug & KarenLee Hegre <hegre_57702 Thank you very much for approving me for your group. I have had two groups for many years. One for herbgardening and one for aromatherapy. The aromatherapy one was created so long ago, when I didn't know very much. I love essential oils , etc. however, my 'first' love has always been herbs. Both culinary & medicinal. I was 4 years old when my Grandfather introduced me to the wild violets on his farm, then my Mother & her Mother, taught me ways to use them, and why! I have learned so much about essential oils and aromatherapy from Martin Watt and I know I'll learn from you. If I shut down my Aromatherapy group may I suggest your group for the members? If not will you recommend one? At 65 I want to concentrate on the herbs. I have a still and I want to try my hand with that this year. My husband does the hard work of digging and amending the soil. I have a scooter to get me back & forth to the various 'beds'. As long as I can sit on my 'behind' I can plant and take care of the herbs. Thank you again for approving me, I'm looking forward to learning more.. Karen --- On Wed, 12/30/09, ATFE Moderator <ATFE-owner > wrote: ATFE Moderator <ATFE-owner > : Welcome to ATFE. Guest guest
Welcome aboard Karen! I envy your early start into the knowledge of the plants around you! It was 6th grade for me and that was just the local berries (high bush cranberry, crow berries...). *lol* Hope your holidays were lovely!! Guest guest
Thank you Jessica. I think the berries would be better to eat than the wild violets. ) I'm so very happy I joined this group.
