Guest guest
The San Diego Reader had this article last week that I know many of you will find interesting. http://www.sandiegoreader.com/news/2009/oct/28/city-light-2/ I'm especially concerned about the henna/mendhi bit. We really are exposed to so much daily, why risk even more exposure to substances we can become sensitized to? Thoughts? Comments? I learned my lesson on sensitization when I had a serious reaction after using Manuka/NZ Tea Tree oil neat/undiluted on a spot on my face right before an *Aromatherapy* conference in 2001. Benadryl didn't even begin to help with the itching and puffiness. I couldn't even sleep. Total misery. I can smell and love the sublime scent of Manuka, but I will not ever consider putting it on my skin after my unsafe use. Take care (of and respect that immune system!), Stacey P.S. Here's another one that I had trouble figuring out at first, but then grew to respect: http://tinyurl.com/3g5k4p
