Guest guest
Lavandin has (or should have) a higher level of camphor than lavender and it is the camphor that repels insects. I used to find that moths would just love chewing on lavender flowers in my cupboard until they decided it was time to make holes in the paper bags. Soon learned my lesson that paper bags are not a good idea for herbs. Also I never found lavender essential oil of any use to get rid of moths.
