Guest guest
CALL TO ACTION: This just in from Sara Holmes (UAE SEC) we have been contacted by Jim Weldy FEMA Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team (www.DMort.org), they are heading out Oct 14. " Unfortunately, these guys don't go to rescue, it is body identification and burial. The conditions he described are horrible. No water, no food, no facilities, malaria, diphtheria, many diseases, and over 100 degrees. I'll update you when I hear back. " SO looks like we need mosquito blends, " good smells " sprays for masks, after the " job " , inhalers and other items to help these guys do their jobs more comfortable. Please send what you can ASAP to Shreveport to get them before they leave otherwise it may be possible to ship once they are there. In case you don't know what these guys do, you may remember after Katrina, Sara interviewed Jim Weldy. We met his team while we were working in Biloxi (pics on the site, the team was ordered to have our massages!) and he received some of Sara's students sprays. He lived nearby and contacted her afterwards to thank her and tell how it helped. He came to their class and she wrote up what he does here: http://www.naha.org/pdf/NAHA%20Article%20Holmes%20Sara%20Call%20to%20Action%20In\ terview.pdf THANKS IN ADVANCE Sylla Sylla Sheppard-Hanger www.UnitedAromatherapy.org p.s wow for having been slow for a few years, this year has us geared back up bigtime!!
