Guest guest
> Can anyone recommend a good web host in the U.K. http://www.thephone.coop/ I have all my telecoms and website hosted with them now. You can call a person in this country for help and they will even ring you back. They were very helpful recently when I had to transfer my website away from a bunch of reprobates that took over my old server. Go to these links for first hand advice on UK servers. http://www.ispreview.co.uk http://www.host-review.co.uk Martin Watt ATFE , <carolshorten wrote: > > Can anyone recommend a good web host in the U.K. Thank You > > Carol > >
Guest guest
Hi there, I use Vistaprint as I can coordinate my branding however I may change to Moonfruit which from the looks of it is fantastic. Moonfruits site builder is great and you can have a site without buying anything(I think that the site would have .moonfruit.co.uk in the domain name though). I think it is 23 quid a year for the cheapest package. I would definately recommend them. Your site is really attractive!! If that is a template...I'd stay were you are! It's really pretty and you will definately get more traffic having a real domain name instead of one that is a subdomain of another site, as you have described with moonfruit. Hosting your domain is just about the cheapest things you can do " in business " ...I mean if you can't afford $4 a month...skip a cup of take-out coffee once a month and have a real website with a real domain name; that's my advice as someone who has been hosting and designing for many, many years! Guest guest
Hi there, Sorry i didnt explain myself with the moonfruit account it is £23.00 per month and you have your own domain name however if you just stay with them for free the domain name has .moonfruit.com or something. The only criticism about vistaprint is the support is between 2pm and 10pm and you cant yet get sub pages on your site which is a bit annoying. The up side of it is they give a lot of information in site traffic and you can find out which search engine has referred people to your site and where they come from. Moonfruit's site building software is a little more sophisticated and has unlimited space.
