Hi guys,

I have a beautiful aromalamp blend made by a good friend here that includes

Oak Moss Absolute (Evernia prunastri). What think you of using it as a

room/linen spray just on the top of my bed's comforter? Could a light misting

just on the top of the bedspread, that doesn't touch my skin, still be an

irritant? (In case you're not familiar, Oak Moss is a powerful skin irritant.

Smells wonderful though in the lamp if you're into deep smoky almost

campfire-like scents.)

Ta,

Stacey who wants her room and bed specifically to smell like a forest tonight!

P.S. I'll never forget the time I put a drop of Oak Moss Absolute (a deep forest

green/black tarlike substance) on a cotton pad and placed it inside my pillow. I

woke up to a big green blotch on my face where it'd evidently seeped through.

Think LOTS of makeup that day. (No reaction, though, thankfully!)

Hi

That should be fine - its a skin irritant, so as long as its not on

your skin it cant irritate it :)

Be careful if you are respiratory challenged though, or prone to

headaches, it can exacerbate both.

As with any chemical based substance - dont overuse!
