I posted it with the intention that perhaps someone else had come across the same thing. Having been a student of microbiology, I find all this interesting and follow subjects of interest such as these. It was submitted by a woman who was giving her cat these types of food and her pet was suffering from multiple UTI's. UTI's often go undetected in pets until it's too late. And before the pro-probiotic folks read this and start getting huffy, the doctor is not saying NOT to use these foods, but if you are going to give them to your pet, to get your pet periodically tested for a UTI.
