I got a couple digests repeated and then nothing in a while. Have they been

lost to cyberspace?

Of course after I sent this and read a little farther down my list of emails

I found a current digest. :-) Teach me to answer emails without checking

whole list.

Rachel's postings brought IDMA to mind....

I like to see differing opinions,(as long as I agree with them;)

Seriously, it's all in the manner of delivery.

Kindly,

Sue

I loathed the bickering, and the sometimes mean-spiritedness of some of the

people sharing so generously.

I have TONS of archived messages that I still refer to...

Oh yes! I loved that. It sounded so cozy and caring " Stay safe and warm " . I

wonder how she's doing.

What drove me nuts were the " absolute " folk. I'm right, you're wrong and why

are you a) even trying to talk to someone as wonderful as I am " B) breathing

the same air I am. In particular to the new folks that showed up asking

questions.

and Marge, you're a much nicer person that I could ever hope to be. I

remember participating in some of the nastiness and as I mentioned, watching

with enjoyment as feathers flew amongst some of the embittered combatants.

However, as you said, the knowledge, as a whole, was staggering. I wouldn't

wish it back again (maybe), but I'm glad I was able to be there for awhile.

Hope you are doing well.

I enjoyed watching the IDMA fights, too, except for the time I almost

got scalped for my opinion - which I had never given! Someone read my

mind, I guess, and strongly disagreed!!

ROFLMAO! I hope that wasn't me.

I remember when I found idma, I was new to the United States and had a new

diploma in Aromatherapy. Granted it was a year's course, not some fly by

night weekend course, or, even worse, something from Young Living but boy

did I " Know EVERYTHING " . I got shot down (rightly so) at times, for opening

my big fat ignorant mouth and shot back. I have to admit that I learned a

LOT. One of the biggest things I learned is that I didn't (and still don't)

know all there is to know about aromatherapy and that if you want to swim

with the sharks, become a dolphin.

LOL!

So. I hope it wasn't me who read your mind Trish and if it was, I apologize.

Unless of course, I was RIGHT! ROFLMAO!

Take Care

Kathleen, had you said something to me, you would naturally have been

right!! Actually, I don't remember disagreeing with you on much -

sometimes on your approach, perhaps - but I cheered your points!

As others have said, many of the folks on the list knew more in their

pinkies than I'll ever know about aromatherapy.

Now that I'm involved with midwifery, I'm routinely taken aback by the

ignorance and plain stupidity of some folks - advising the massage of

strong concentrations of cinnamon and ginger onto the abdomen to

" cure " morning sickness, etc. I've taught a couple of classes (thank

you, Martin!) using sound information about safety and " evidenced-

based aromatherapy " , but feel like I'm swimming against a tsunami. YL

is BIG in the natural birth scene.

Dear Patricia and Kathleen,

Do either of you do business with the Tree of Life Distributor that

distributes many of the vitamin and other health supplements in our

country? If so, then I have something interesting to share with you. It

seems according to the handout that I received when I recently re-joined

Nature's Sunshine that The Tree of Life also distributes Young Living

Products & essential oils. This might be one of the reasons that YL is

getting bigger out in the Health Food arena.

This is the first time that I have posted since last year when I found out

I had the shingles. Thank you all that shared information on releasing the

shingles because it did the job but left my immune system kaput. I am just

now getting back to work with my at even though I did teach my at classes

in the spring. I now have eight new shingles formulas that work quiet

nicely and several new pain formulas as well. I am taking it easy this year

and not trying to grow as many roses for rose oil and helichrysum and

melissa as well. I'm still improving my immune system a little more each

day. I have been so thankful for the extra inventory that I had already

made up.

I hope that everyone is well and this list keeps on growing. It was

wonderful to read when I didn't feel like doing anything but sleeping.

Take care and all of you have a great week!

Kathleen with YL you do say it best. We don't need to deliver niceties to the YL

bunch. I wish someone would lock this con artist away forever.
