Could the owner of this group delete me from the list. I will need to

reregister as I've been inactive and forgot my password and ID and have been

unable to get it back. I'd appreciate confirmation that I've been deleted so

I can than reregister. Thank You David

Tamanu or Foraha Oil (Calophyllum inophyllum)-fixed oil

This a great pain relieving/moisturizing oil from the South Pacific

originally. They are not all alike, that from Madagascar is the best IMO.

It was used for leprosy. A quick internet search will give you more

information than you want to know. It also smells like pecans

A 50/50 mix with Ravensara is the best way I know to stop pain from shingles

and to clear them up ASAP.

Tagetes bipinata, minuta, glandulifo (mexican marigold) is basically a

ketone and in EO's = poison, so it's use is not for the faint of heart AND

it is phototoxic. It works great in getting rid of warts and jock itch. It

needs to be well diluted. The ketone hazard appears to be much less than

nail polish remover. I would not recommend using it topically for more than

a month. It also smells like hog manure. I'd buy only small amounts as it

has a tendency to polmerize and become inactive. It is much safer than the

40% Salicylic acid plasters used for callouses and warts.

Question on Emu oil:

'They' say they extract the oil from a gland on the Emu. I heard the best

way to get the most out of a bird is to render them. I guess that is why

you can buy Emu jerky from some of the places that sell the oil. If this is

wrong, please let me (us) know. Emu is a great oil but not at the price of

a life (unless it was shooting at me). The best substitute I know is Tamanu

oil, esp for eczema.
