I want to thank Carol and Mr Matin Watts, Kathleen and Everyone else who

answered. I just saw Carol's email below and assumed that she was the only one

who answered so stopped checking the list. Just after that, my Dad got ill and I

was unable to look up the group for a while. He's better now.

When I got back now I suddenly saw that the email I sent caused people to

quarrel. I really only meant to share a few things that helped my pain and maybe

hear if anyone else knew of anything, that's all.

Fibromyalgia and general pain relief is a common thing that people go to

alternative practioners for including Aromatherapists. Therefore I thought it

would interest other here. Also the best conventional painkiller I found that

suited me was " Zostrix " - capsaicin cream, being based on red pepper extract

absorbed through the skin. It took ages to find a conventional doctor to tell me

about it after being given tons of things that conventional doctors give first

that I found useless or worse like Iburefen, Volteren, NSAIDS etc. I just

wondered if there were other things to look for like Zostrix Capsaicin. (I would

have checked them up of course.)

Anyway Carol I deeply appreciate your effort in looking up things as I know it

takes time and effort. I decided not to take it because much of the ingredients

in it were more for relaxation/mental clarity etc. I was looking for pain

relief. But I still really appreciate you answering.

Mr. Martin Watts, I had no idea that there was some law in the UK against

giving medical advice on this.

I'm going to have a look at your website.

I had vitamin D + B's checked. They was low and I am now working to raise it but

it doen't seem to help the pain much. Everyone is different and the cause is not

yet known.

I just wanted to thank everyone who took the effort for answering.

> Hi there I missed your first post for pain releiving oils/blends and I had to

go look up fybromyalga because it's not a condition I was familiar with....I

would alternate it with a totally different blend to allow the body to process

the oils used and also bear in mind that most citrus oils are phototoxic.
