Hello all,

 

I am seeking to start a thread concerning the use of Bergamot oil

topically in skin care products. I am an esthetician who works with an

extremely well-known line of skincare products. A part of the product

line uses Bergamot EO in their " Irritation line " ! I have asked the

rep if the oil being used is bergaptene free and she says it is. I am

extremely concerned and uncomfortable using this oil topically on

particular individuals if not all. Martin and others would you please

give me your insight and opinions on the safety of this particular

oil, especially if the oil is free of bergaptene. I would appreciate

any feedback and thank you in advance.
