Guest guest
Howdy y'all, I joined the group below in May .. it has over 7,000 members .. many are professional truck farmers. A week or so ago I some photos of our Organic garden to their Photo Section .. and I included some record busting Broccoli Heads .. 14 inches .. which are 2 inches larger than the largest Broccoli species is known to produce. Yesterday I was surprised to see the below post on the group .. made by one of the group moderators .. and it refers to the photo they have posted on the front page of the Group. Click the link below. The photo is shooting from the right rear corner of our garden. Seeing as I was in Turkey for 19+ years and had not planted a garden during that time .. and had never planted one this large (close to 6/10th acre) or any size totally organic garden .. I was surprised at our success .. but more surprised at them choosing this photo for the group front page. Am I prouder'n a Speckled Pup .. am I grinning like a Cheshire Cat? Dang betcha on that one. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com <http://www.av-at.com/> Home Page Picture-What a Nice Garden! Guest guest
ooooooooooooooooooooh MAN! What a lovely garden Butch. Curious... do you have any specific bug problem that you have to fight against. Ex... aphids, those fat white slug worms that eat roots... etc. If so, how do you deal with it. I was so afraid you were still over there. Well talk about gardens. You want to see my tiny size of everything here in Northern Alberta. With Winter temps at -40 and snowed right up to almost June this year. I got a late start on my organic garden. But we hope our fruit trees will make up for the small veggies we will get. Nice to see you also have a green thumb...LOL Barbara
