Guest guest
Hi, I am a longtime member with a newer name. Just have been thinking about Robin and her husband for the past few days. I am hoping good things are coming about. I had been researching for myself and for another about mj. It is legalized in my state, but I (the pharmaceuticals are killing me) can't remember if the FDA has finally legalized it. I know too many people looking for relief, not hallucinations, that have been arrested. There is a drug and several variants of it that stem from the plant and it is given to cancer patients and AIDS patients that are vomiting and have become too thin. I am too goody2shoes to try illegal substances and can't drink. I need to put weight on, desperately, but find it difficult to eat. It is hard when everyone you see comments on what you look like and makes assumptions. Is there any AT advice? I am thinking of Robin and her husband and wishing I could have a 12 pack with them. Guest guest
Dear Letitbepeaceful, My heart goes out to you. I am so sorry you are having such a hard time. Hubby is still struggling, and I'm working to put together herbal concoctions and essential oil massage liquids (found some silcones that are non-oily and miscible with EOs) to help him with relief of the arthritis pain edge. If you lived nearby, you would be welcome to come over and join Jerry with his 12-pack, but alas, you don't drink so . . . you could sit here with me and watch , as I can't stand beer and rarely drink myself. What has been recommended to me/us is to dig more deeply into herbal remedies: tinctures, compresses, teas, etc. MJ is a great drug for the right things, but alas it IS illegal in many states and definitely at the federal level still. Be well, and take good care of yourself. Blessings, Robin (rebalspirit1960) - letitbepeaceful Hi, I am a longtime member with a newer name. Guest guest
Robin, Thank you for your kindness. I'm sorry your husband is having a hard time still. (He's lucky to have you mixing stuff for him!) I'll virtually watch with you and wait on a good AT treatment. Thank you.
