Sorry .. I should have excluded folks living in Callyfornia .. such

behavior is considered to be normal in those cases. ;-)

talking to plants might actually be beneficial to them. (Though apparently

they like heavy metal better.) Brought to you by our favorite scientists,

I suspect that one reason that plants like people talking to them is that

when one exhales, one emits carbon dioxide. Plus don't forget that there

have been a TON of studies that have suggested strongly that plants can feel

pain. Which (non-sequiter) is why a lot of pagan/earth based religions make

sense when they say to thank the plants and the earth mother/father for the

treasures received.

 

And (another non-sequiter) when I DO finally get to move (this summer or

next), how on earth is Butch going to be able to blame Califoria for my

doo-lallyness? LOL!

I saw this episode! It was funny watching the one lady play the loud

punk music and then scream at the plants. I don't talk to mine, but I

got lucky since my home sits on an old dairy farm.
