Guest guest
Privet Nika, Long time since we've communicated .. hope you are doing well in your new digs. :-) Butch, > > I'm expecting a nice fat refund. I found out that I have nothing coming back .. the two companies I used (USAA & Pentagon Federal) both followed the law from the git go and were not penalized. Folks can call the issuers of their cards and get the official line from them .. just use the number on the back of the card. Odds are that the person answering will be unaware of what you are talking about but they will look it up on their system and find a company position on it. > BTW, I doubt that the deal only applies to US citizens. Visa and M/C and others were penalized but the two institutions I use (though they are Visa and M/C) choose to not follow the pack .. so it might get down to how did your particular institution handle the fees. IF that is the case .. then a U.S. District Court will have no authority over a bank or credit union in Canada or whatever. > Cheers, > Nika > Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch PS: Looking back at a couple of receipts from Ruble withdrawals in Russia ... I found that NO fees were charged by my institutions .. but I paid fees for Lira withdrawals in Turkey ??? > > > Hi y'all, > > > > If you have used your Credit Cards outside the U.S.A. during the period > 1 > > February 1996 to 8 November 2006 .. you are probably due a refund > > based on a > > U.S. District Court decision.
