Guest guest
Howdy Liz, Hi Butch, > Thanks for the clarification! Though I dont think anyone who knows you > would even think you were *dissing* Martin ! :-) > I wouldn't diss him .. but I'll call him a Knucklehead when I think he is acting like one. ;-) > By the way, we dont have trolls on ATFE ;-) > Don't bet your last Euro on that. ;-) > We just have very knowledgeable folk who are really generous in > sharing information freely (including you in that, thank you) - and we > really appreciate them. > Sharing information is great .. spreading misinformation is unfortunate. > OK sometimes they may have things to say that others dont want to hear > - but hey! - when the only opinion people want to listen to is their > own - they are living a sad life ;-) > Generally, I agree with that .. but not always. Opinons on who should be the President or what is the best path to Heaven or Nirvana or which top note should one use in a blend or perfume and such are generally ALL valid opinions .. there are many ways to skin the cat in such discussions and one person's opinion is as good as the next person's opinion. This is not the case with the chemistry of EO .. there is little room for off the cuff opinion when we are dealing with science .. and there should be little room for opinions of what AT is when the discussion is on a group that is supposed to be concerned with the proper and safe use of EO in AT. These discussions have opened the doors wide for all the wrong ideas and corrupt people and organizations that I and Martin and Kathleen and many others have battled for many years. My opinion is that the entire discussion is not legitimate .. it is confusing to folks who should not be confused .. to folks who should be learning the realities of the benefits of Essential Oils vs the emotional highs we can get from other sources that they now wish to claim are a part of Aromatherapy! You won't find any of this chaotic # & % in the AT course I recommended below ... if it was there I would not have recommended it. > LLx > Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch > > > 2008/5/10 Butch Owen <butchowen <butchowen%40gmail.com>>: > > Hey y'all, > > > > I'm gonna clarify one point now afore someone rightfully calls me on > > it. ;-) It was not my intent to say that Martin does not know the > > in's and out's of AT .. but its not his original field of expertise. > > He is perhaps the most knowledgeable person around on the subject of > > safe use of EO .. believe it or not .. more knowledgable than I > > am. ;-) Folks who don't own his Safety Manual " Plant Aromatics " > > are playing Russian Roulette .. shooting in the dark .. when they > > make blends for dermal application. > > > > http://www.aromamedical.com/paper.html > > > > And .. even though I NEVER wish to be known as an AT Practitioner, I > > have taken two AT Courses and I accidently know a thing or three > > about AT .. so I feel qualified to say that his AT Course is the best > > around .. and the least costly .. and it will teach you the correct > > way the first time .. no need to unlearn bad info later. > > > > http://www.aromamedical.com/coursedetails.html > > > > If you wanna know who this ol' Troll really is .. go here. > > > > http://www.aromamedical.com/biography.html > > > > Y'all keep smiling. :-) > > > > Butch .. http://www.AV-AT.com <http://www.av-at.com/> > > > >> Martin, being a Herbalist (that is his expertise .. not > > Aromatherapy) >
