Hey there -

I hope it's been a comfortable temperature where you are. We have just

had 2, 100 plus degree-days (Fahrenheit). It's completely un-

seasonable for this type of heat, and we sure aren't looking forward to

summer.

When it's that hot, dry heat - not the Florida mucky stuff, but the

desert heat you can almost smell, I reach for Patchouli. I don't know

what it is about sweat and patchouli, but something about the earthy

grounded-ness of it gets me every time. I also like the uber-florals

when it's warm: Jasmine, Rose, and Ylang-Ylang. But nothing gives me

the earthy satisfaction of Patchouli.

Anyone else reach for a certain thing in extreme temps?

Cheers,

Christina

Hi Christina

In the winter I find Peppermint warming and comforting, in the summer

I find it cooling and refreshing.

I also love citrus oils more in the summer, esp lemon or lime.
