Guest guest
Dear Lists, As much as I have championed Mike Adams' good work on http://www.naturalnews.com Rob and I were very disappointed to see the latest there on essential oils. Rob has addressed this on http://www.romaconnection.org and we hope it enlightens you, especially the newbies. Hope you've added Aromaconnection to your RSS feed. Guest guest
Hey, Marcia! Thanks for the info. Actually, there have been several times that Mike has posted things that I'm not in agreement with -- kinda over the top alarmist type thing. So I read his stuff now with careful eyes. Guest guest
Re energies in oils. Oh dear I can't find my old copies on this issue so will have to write from scratch what I may have said previously. 1. Every atom has a unique frequency or vibration. 2. Every molecule will have a combination of the energies of the atoms it is made from. 3. Essential oils consists of up to thousands of different chemicals (molecules) each with a different vibration. 4. Each batch of essential oil is different from the previous batch. Genuine oils are massively variable in molecular composition. Even the adulterated oils will vary batch to batch. Therefore, any test done on the vibration of a given oil could never be replicated for the next one tested. All this means that any supposed therapeutic or 'energetic' properties attributed to essential oils cannot possibly be reliable in any way shape or form. In reality, the whole concept was promoted in modern times by a long discredited pseudo scientist in France called Pierre Franchomme. It was then taken up as a philosophy by numerous know nothing aromatherapy authors & teachers. It was easy for them to do this as to dispute what they claim based on supposed spiritual philosophies is not easy. Also, it covered up their own fundamental lack of knowledge of what essential oils really are and can do. The confidence trickster Gary Young seized on this idea as he was clever enough to know it would con more of his customers. Many involved in small time oils supply also cottoned on to what a great way it was to make money from gullible customers by promoting this nonsense. If there is anything in the principle of energy transfer during a 'healing' session it has nothing to do with the oils, but is an energy interaction of the practitioner and the client. The lovely fragrance of the oils, combined with the relaxation, simply opens the mind and makes it receptive to auto suggestion. Garys' clones are trained in that!! This trade has always operated on the principle that if you say it enough times people will believe it. That is what this crap about essential oil energies is all about. I would ask people to stop **believing** in fairy tails. Try and learn more about the great gift which nature has given us after millions of years of development of essential oils. Those oils are there for a variety of purposes and we have only touched the tip of what they really can do. Martin Watt - PS do not email to my group address but via my web site please as i only check hotmail every few days. http://www.aromamedical.com , " janeec2003 " <jane_cummins wrote: > > Please repost. > > , " Martin Watt " >
