Very helpful Stacey,

 

I'm going on a job hunt real soon, not MT, not AT-

 

But your tips are extremely relevant to any interview and you somehow

covered many of the things I would have put my big foot in. :)

Hi Stacey,

 

I'm coming out of lurking to respond to the MT interviewing

recommendation. I've been a massage therapist for awhile now in

various parts of the country. Years ago, one of the first times I

went to interview at a spa, I dressed as formally as I thought

appropriate. However, as part of the interview process I was asked

to give a massage. For that, I was actually inappropriately dressed

and almost did not get hired. After that experience, I always find

out what the interview process entails before making a wardrobe

decision.
