Howdy Christina,

Welcome you are for sure.

Thank you ma'am and I didn't think you did .. but you will have to

admit that some of the more overzealous Eco-Terrorists do attempt to

paint sellers and users of these oils with such a brush. They could

do so much more if they would just lighten up on the emotions and in

some cases .. marketing .. and pay more attention to the realities of

the problems we are facing. I mention marketing because the idea of

being REAL GREEN impresses those who are easily impressed.

I bought a Flex Fuel vehicle last summer when I returned from Turkey

and to date I've not burned a gallon of biofuel in it. Not because I

know now that biofuels made from grain are more harmful than using

fossil fuels .. but because the biofuel is higher in cost, lower in

performance .. and we don't have a biofuel station here in Paris,

TN ;-)

I have examined it over and over for many years .. and I commented on

some of her statements in the posts I referenced. I've never met

Chrissie .. if I were to meet her it is possible we could even be

friends .. if .. she was willing to admit she is not all knowing.

I have plans to retire-retire sometime in 2009 and those who hang on

in this rat race will be free to indoctrinate folks as they see fit

after I am gone .. but in the meantime, they can expect disagreement

from me when they don't have all their ducks in line. ;-)

Hey, Butch -

Thanks for that.

Point taken. And I hope it's clear we aren't trying to negate one

point of view, just discuss the issue. You are right, too, that some

folks would jump off a cliff if it was the latest impressive thing to

do..

>> I've never met Chrissie .. if I were to meet her it is possible we

Fair enough. That's how the two of us get along. :)

Seriously, though, your post really points out the lack of good,

concrete info we have on this topic. I am going to assume that the

big oil houses, the really big guys in the flavor and fragrance

industry, are tracking this issue mightily at the moment.

Anyone have an idea how to get their hands on this kind of homework?

Thanks again, Butch.

Cheers,

Christina
