Big News! Recommended Supplier Database

Hi ATFE2,

 

A few months back the listmoms removed our supplier database, and at

that time we were right to do so. There was no standard as to who

got in, and no one was kept to any kind of guideline. We also

deleted it because we have a very strong non-commercial stance on

our group.

 

We still don't feel that an Ad Day is a positive direction for our

group to go. However, we recognize a few truths about our group:

 

1. We have vendors among us.

 

While none of the listmoms has an aromatherapy business, a number of

our members do. It makes sense for us to support their efforts, in a

way that does not play favorites.

 

2. Trusted suppliers are hard to come by.

 

Most vendor support is via word of mouth in our small industry, and

many newbies are left wondering where to turn for oils they can

trust. Especially those that find us once they leave an MLM.

 

3. We are a broad group.

 

Vendors come in many aromatic styles, incorporating everything from

EO Suppliers to educators, from herb farmers to soapers, from raw

ingredient suppliers to online media.

 

Due to all these factors, we are quite happy to introduce our new

Recommended Supplier Database. In order to be included, all a vendor

has to do is recommend themselves. Anyone can recommend any vendor,

as well. The only criteria for inclusion is adherence to the

following 3 rules:

 

Rule #1 - They do *NOT* sell oils (or anything else) on a MLM basis.

Rule #2 - They *DO* provide relevant and adequate safety information.

Rule #3 - They do not claim to *cure* disease or illness in any

promotional literature or web site.

 

That's it.

 

If any vendor is found to violate one of these 3 rules, they will be

removed from the database, Inclusion and exclusion is strictly at

the discretion of the ATFE2 Listmoms.
