Guest guest
Hi Ruth, First .. let me say that I review dozens of web sites each month and rare it is that I can't find totally incorrect information on Essential Oils and safe use of same. The old rumors that plague this industry are difficult to stifle because folks pick up on them and use them for marketing purposes. Its hard to say if they do this out of greed or ignorance .. probably a combination of the two because one does not have to remain ignorant .. but gaining correct information can put a crimp in one's marketing hype. ;-) > Hi Martin, Thanks' for this valuable information. What sort of stuff > should we look for that will tell us that the course is good. > What sort of qualifications are necessary to teach aromatherapy? > Can you recommend good courses? > I can recommend what I think is the best course around .. its totally professional and allows one to learn the correct information the first time around .. which is better than having to " unlearn " the crap that is out and about .. that course is Martin Watt's Course .. http://www.aromamedical.com/coursedetails.html What sort of price would can we expect to pay for a good course? > Martin's Course is $458 - $497 .. depending on whether you want hard copy or CD. Other courses are generally much higher .. but if they were much lower they would have a tough time meeting the standards of his course. I've taken his and one other .. long, long ago. What else should we look for? > Me .. nothing .. its all been said! ;-) The course discussed below .. for $39.99 .. contains information that can be found without looking hard .. I purchased it once just to review it. Its good for folks who are not sure what they want to do .. next week. If they want to play with Aromatherapy this week and switch to Basket Weaving or Scrap Booking the following week ... it might be worth the cost. Oh yea .. I have no financial interests and get no commissions from folks who take Martin's Course.
