Yes .. FRACTIONATED Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera). It has an indefinite

shelf life because it doesn't oxidize .. it absorbs well and is NOT greasy

... it is colorless and odorless and doesn't stain clothing .. it washes out

of clothing easily .. and is not expensive.

There is no need to add Essential Oils to any carrier unless one wants to

... we can use Fractionated Coconut alone on our skin.

As for Commercial (almost always not organic) skin oils .. adding an

Essential Oil is (in my opinion) not a good idea because we don't know what

the " secret " ingredients are in that Commercial preparation .. odds are

there are man-made or synthesized chemical formulas in Commercial

preparations .. so adding an Essential Oil with its own unique chemical

composition could create something we wouldn't like .. perhaps an unpleasant

odor .. or .. maybe even a product that is not safe. In the world of

chemistry (and Essential Oils are all about natural chemistry) when one

mixes chemicals they can create other chemicals that were not originally in

either of the products that were mixed. This new chemical composition might

not be to our liking .. could even be hazardous. I am not saying that

doing this would always create a hazard but it is a risky gamble to do this.

I am not aware of any dangers in mixing any SAFE Essential Oil with any SAFE

(plant extracted) Wax or Carrier Oil .. but I believe that this is not the

case with Commercial preparations.

I'm sure I am preaching to the choir .. most folks know this .. we must pay

close attention to the use of household cleaning materials .. must read the

fine print .. because mixing some of them can result in a visit to the

Emergency Room .. or one-way trip to the Cemetery.
