We have several new members this week! Including Hiral at University of California, Berkeley Hi - I am researching traditional postpartum healing methods based on Ayurveda. I am a holistic nutrition educator student. I would love to learn more on this topic through this . And a little more on Dr. V - He is from a loving lineage of ayurvedic and allopathic physicians in India with many great community service projects in their history. It has been my fortune to have many conversations recently including enriching my understanding of the keys to correct postpartum depression. Dr.Pratapkumar did lot for Marathi Vaidya's and specially Pune ayurvedic college. Pratapkumar fought for Ayurveda and Vaidya's till parliament of India and one India one curricula BAM & S course structure passed because of him. He studied his postgradutation in University of Dublin and serve in 2nd world war too as a physician. Dr. Pratapkumar was my grandfather. My father was town core total general practitioner and he was chief medical officer in St.Georges hospital Bombay. His whole life was devoted to serve needy and poor.
