Guest guest
Thermogram. I'm not getting any more mammograms, but if there was someplace to get a Thermogram and I could afford, that's what I would opt for. Guest guest
Yes - very non-invasive easy great technology. You can view the results on the technician's laptop while you are getting it done! I never had a mammogram, or lots of other things for that matter. When you go to Florida, is it anywhere near Gainesville? I " ve forgotten. There is a clinic in Fairfield Iowa offering very good rates on thermography also, should anyone there not already know. - Ysha > Thermogram. Guest guest
Aloha Group, I'm jumping in here during a thermogram conversation. fyi - Did you know that only some forms of cancer have heat sources. This means that thermography only detects those types of cancers. I used thermography exclusively for years, then went to an outstanding thermography technician who gave me a more complete education about the pros and cons of thermography use. Now I am dealing with a cancer that was not detected, but was on a mammogram. Each screening has it's capabilities and limitations, I learned. with care and concern, a loyal member of the group Vicky York, IBCLC, CPD Postpartum Care Services www.vickyyorkdoula. com Re: thermogram Yes - very non-invasive easy great technology. Guest guest
Thanks for this clarification Kim - I was told something similar - that the % detection rate of each was about the same combined with manual exam about 95% I believe it was, though each had some different range like you descrinbed, that may or may not get picked up. What are you doing for it now? Im sure a host of options has arisen? Warm Regards, Ysha > I'm jumping in here during a thermogram conversation. > fyi - Did you know that only some forms of cancer have heat sources. Guest guest
Thank you for your kind question Vicky - yes, I'm blessed in many ways. And you? Rather than just hoping (which introduces sounds of doubt and uncertainty) - just let the quite intent for your best interests be there, the quiet desire with this focus also, when you next visit your son in Florida. Do what you can, and leave the rest to the Divine's unseen organizing power and highest interests for us - which as the Bible says, can move in unfathomable ways. It is important alongside this to allow the desire to quietly be there w/o any demands or anxiety around it, and then let it go. Sets up best cooperative dynamics! Love and warm wishes for the holy days, Ysha > thanks, Ysha. Hope I can remember that when I go there next and that I will have the money for it when the time comes. Are you happy? Guest guest
that's how I'm learning to do everything in my life. I'm starting with cutting out a lot of entertainment and social havoc. Planning how I want my future to be and just leaning in that direction with my whole body instead of using the steering wheel. That's how I arrived at not wanting to date any more. I'm downsizing regarding stuff in my apt. Organizing my business better, raised my rates, looking toward simplicity. Glad you're happy, Ysha, would like a visit with you sometime.
