Guest guest
In response to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I have posted a blog article on breast health awareness. This is in the hope that women will see the sense of being proactive in their health, rather than waiting for the " life-saving " early detection being heavily touted by the medical authorities. Please be aware that cancer takes many years to become a malignant tumour. For many years, there is a lot you can do to minimise or avoid cancer - just do it! The body is a self-growing, self-repairing organisation that thrives on balance. With self-awareness, listening to your body's signals, and with gentle self-care, there is no need for ill-health. Use the principles of Ayurveda to guide you in a relaxed, flexible and loving way. When women validate themselves by caring for themselves, their men and children benefit - all society benefits! Please read my article, and please feel free to comment or offer suggestions. I am involved in a movement to promote breast health in New Zealand; which includes GPs, naturopaths, organic self-care producers and others. We want to create a breast health self-care programme that will be documented over several years to show effects on breast cancer incidence.
